Kàⁿ-sò͘ (Eng-gí: enzyme; Hàn-jī: 酵素) sī oa̍h-mi̍h lāi-té chhú-lí mi̍h-kiāⁿ ê ko-chū-bu̍t, oa̍h-mi̍h ê sin-tîn-tāi-siā (chhin-chhiūⁿ siau-hoà, tióng-toā, sè-pau sí-bô) lóng su-iàu i. Kàⁿ-sò͘ toā-hūn sī nn̄g-pe̍h-chit chò--ê, ē-tàng ka-sok ia̍h chhui-hoà (catalyze) hoà-ha̍k hoán-èng. M̄-koh, m̄ sī só͘-ū ê seng-bu̍t chhui-hoà-che lóng sī nn̄g-pe̍h-chit, ū koá hō chò RNA kàⁿ-sò͘ (ribozyme) ê RNA hun-chú mā ē-tàng chhui-hoà hoán-èng. Sè-pau lāi-tiong toā-hūn ê chok-iōng lóng tio̍h kàⁿ-sò͘ lâi saⁿ-hia̍p-chō͘; ta̍k chióng kàⁿ-sò͘ kan-taⁿ ē kéng-soán te̍k-tēng ê tùi-siōng lâi chok-iōng, kan-taⁿ ē ka-sok te̍k-tēng ê hoán-èng.
