Thó-lūn:Ē-mn̂g-chhī

闽南语白话字把汉字转变为罗马文字，固然有它的好处。许多闽南人因此认识到标准闽南语读音，可是我遇到的闽南同乡当中，十个人有九个看不懂这些白话字，就连我本人学习过，也觉得看了非常之困难。这样一来，很多闽南人无法贡献于闽南语维基百科。

建议创建一个类似“粤语”和“赣语”的维基百科，使用汉字配合闽南语法，方便闽南人贡献。

汉字配合闽南语，就有如以下例子： 普通话： 我今天想要和你去吃晚饭。 闽南语： 我今仔日想卜共汝去食暗顿。

Just noticed that this question is still here, so I guess I'll answer it myself. It confused me that people called 廈門大學 Ē-mn̂g toā-o̍h but the abbreviated form 廈大 Hā-tāi. The former uses colloquial readings and the latter uses literary readings. Nobody says Hā-mn̂g or Hā-bûn.
