Tāi-siā
Tāi-siā (代謝; Eng-gí: metabolism) tī seng-hoà-ha̍k ê ì-sù, sī kok-chióng î-chhî seng-bu̍t sèⁿ-miā ê hoà-ha̍k hóan-èng ê chi̍p-ha̍p. Chia-ê hóan-èng kòe-têng ē-sái î-chhî seng-bu̍t ê seng-tióng, siⁿ-thôan, kò͘-chō chham hóan-èng.
Tāi-siā ē-sái hūn nn̄g tōa khóan: tông-hòa cho̍k-iōng (anabolism) ē-sái lī-ēng lêng-liōng lâi kā sió hun-chú ha̍p-sêng chò tōa hun-chú; ī-hòa cho̍k-iōng (catabolism) ē-sái kā tōa hun-chú hun-kái lâi seng-sán lêng-liōng.
