siu-kái- Under the tri-service designation F-21A Lion, the type was used as an adversary fighter by the Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program (a.k.a. TOPGUN), run under the auspices of the US Navy. Training of Navy and Marine Corps aviators ceased in 1988 and 1989 respectively.
