Soân-hong (Eng-gí: cyclone)[1], mā thang kóng khì-soân, sī khì-siōng-ha̍k lāi chi̍t tīn hiòng kâng hong-hiòng ká-tńg ê khì-liû. Tī Pak Poàn-kiû sī hoán-sîn-cheng, nā Lâm Poàn-kiû tńg sūn-sî-cheng. It-poaⁿ só͘ kóng ê khì-soân i-ê hong sī hiòng i tiong-sim ê kē-khì-ap liû-tōng.

jia̍t-tāi ê khì-soân kiò jia̍t-tāi soân-hong, Hō-ló-ōe it-poaⁿ hō chāi-tē ê soân-hong kiò chò hong-thai.
