Kho-kú (科舉) sī kó͘-chá Tiong-kok kap hū-kìn kok-ka ēng khó-chhì lâi soán-jīm koaⁿ-goân ê chè-tō͘. Tùi Sûi-tiâu khái-sí si̍t-hêng, Tông-tiâu kè-sio̍k hoat-tián, kàu Sòng-tiâu sî í-keng chin goân-pī.

Tiong-kok siōng-boé tī 1905 nî Chheng-tiâu sî-tāi hùi-tû kho-kú; Tiâu-sián mā tī 1894 nî thêng-chí si̍t-si; Oa̍t-lâm tī 1919 nî khah hùi-tû. Ji̍t-pún mā pat sit-hêng kho-kú, m̄-koh bô kî-tha kok-ka hiá tn̂g-kú, phó͘-ki̍p. Tâi-oân siū Tēⁿ-sī kap Chheng-tiâu thóng-tī sî mā sī ū si̍t-si kho-kú.

Britain Tè-kokÌn-tō͘ ê bûn-koaⁿ chè-tō͘ ū chham-khó kho-kú hē-thóng. Leng-goā, hiān-tāi ê kong-bū-goân soán-jīm chè-tō͘ khí-seng mā ū ke-kiám chham-khó kho-kú.
