Koh ū-tang-chūn, chit-ê sû mā kí thâu-chêng kóng ê chit-ê kò͘-chō-bu̍t pún-sin, chóng--sī kò͘-chō-bu̍t pún-sin kóng kiàn-tio̍k-bu̍t ē khah bêng-khak.
Lô-má sî-tāi ê kiàn-tio̍k-ka Marcus Vitruvius Pollio só͘ siá ê Lūn Kiàn-tio̍k (De Architectura) sī hiān-chhú-sî iáu tī-leh siōng-kó͘-chá ê kiàn-tio̍k-ha̍k ê chheh. Tī chheh--ni̍h, Marcus Vitruvius Pollio tui-kiû lō͘-iōng (utilitas), kian-kò͘ (firmatis), lè-táu (venustas) chit 3 tiám ê tâng-chê ta̍t-sêng, nā beh ta̍t-sêng chit 3 ê bo̍k-phiau, bô gē-su̍t kap kho-ha̍k ê lí-kái sī bē-ēng-tit--ê.

siu-káiKiàn-tio̍k chit-ê sû, goân-té sī Ji̍t-gí hoan-e̍k ê Hàn-jī-sû (建築).
