Tang-hong hoe-le̍k-chhí
Tang-hong hue-li̍k-tshí (eastern chipmunk; ha̍k-miâ: tamias striatus) sī-teh pak Bí-chiu tang-pōo huat-hiān ê hue-li̍k-tshí bu̍t-tsíng. Tang-hong hue-li̍k-tshí sī hue-li̍k-tshí Tamias ê a-sio̍k (subgenus) iá-sī uî-it koh ua̍h-tio̍h ê tshi-tsíng, ū-tang-sî-á hông (hōo lâng) līn-uî i-sī tsi̍t-ê tan-to̍k ê sio̍k.[2] "Hue-li̍k tshí" tsi̍t-ê miâ-lī uì Ojibwe-gí (Ojibwe language) "ajidamoo" lâi--ê (hik-tsia̍h khó-lîng sī "ajidamoonh", kah Ojibwe-gí ê Ottawa hong-giân (Ottawa dialect) lāi-té iōng kāng tsi̍t-ê sû), i-ê gí-bīn ê ì-sù sī "tsi̍t-ê ti̍t-ti̍t uì tshiū-á tíng-kuân lo̍h-lâi ê miâ-kiâñ".[3] Koh-lâi tō-sī siōng thâu-sing Mark Catesby teh 1743-nî i-ê tù-tsok "The Natural History of Carolina, Florida, and the Bahama Islands" (Teh North Carolina, Florida kah Panama kûn-tó ê tuā-tsū-jiân li̍k-sú) sóo-siá ê tsi̍t-kuá biâu-su̍t.
