Eng-gí ê Chancellor, ū-sî thang hoan-e̍k chò chái-siòng, siú-siòng ia̍h chóng-lí, gí-goân sī Latin-gí ê cancellarius, sī chē khoán chèng-hú tiúⁿ-koaⁿ ê chit-ūi. Chancellor ê pang-kong-thiaⁿ thang hō chò chancellery ia̍h chancery.

Tī Eng-gí, hâm-thâu chancellor ū khó-lêng sī chèng-hú thâu-lâng, gōa-kau sū-bū-chiá, su-hoat sū-bū-chiá, châi-chèng ia̍h keng-chè sū-bū-chiá, he̍k-chiá sī tāi-ha̍k ê thâu-lâng.
