Hīⁿ (耳) ia̍h hīⁿ-á (耳仔), hīⁿ-khang (耳空), sī 1 khoán kám-kak khì-koan, chú-iàu sī leh chiap-siu siaⁿ-im. Ùi seng-bu̍t-ha̍k ê koan-tiám lâi khoàⁿ, bô kāng khoán ê chek-chui tōng-bu̍t ê hīⁿ-á chin sio-siâng, pí-lūn kóng hî kap jîn-lūi; m̄-koh kiat-kò͘ bô kāng iūⁿ. Hīⁿ-á m̄-nā ē-tàng chiap-siu siaⁿ-im̄, koh ē-tàng kám-kak sin-thé ê ūi-tì kap pêng-hêng.

Gōa-hīⁿ kap tiong-hīⁿ sī khong-khì thoân-tat hoat-seng ê só͘-chāi. Siaⁿ-pho tat kàu kó͘-mo̍͘h ín-khí chìn-tōng, sòa--lâi tio̍h sī tiong-hīⁿ, keng-kòe saⁿ lia̍p thèng-kut thôan kàu o-giû-khak gōa bīn, koh ji̍p-khì tio̍h sī lāi-hīⁿ^[1].
