Kong-gôan 1521 nî, Au-chiu thàm-hiám-ka Ferdinand Magellan chhōa-tio̍h i thàm-hiám-tūi keng-kòe chit-ê só·-chāi. 1565 nî liáu-āu, Se-pan-gâ khai-sí thóng-tī chit-phiàn thó·-tē, 1898 nî liáu-āu ōaⁿ Bí-kok thóng-tī. 1935 nî, kok-ka chhòng-kiàn " kiōng-tông-thé ", 1946 nî chhú-tit ôan-chôan ê to̍k-li̍p.
